Blair Oaks freshmen win two

RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Falcons picked up a pair of wins against the Russellville junior varsity baseball team on Tuesday.

Blair Oaks claimed rolled to a 11-0 win in Game 1, before cruising to a 7-0 win in four innings in the nightcap.

Ryan Paschal was the winning pitcher in the opener, allowing two hits and striking out nine in five innings.

Jason Rackers had two hits and drove in five runs to lead the Falcons at the plate. Garrett Welschmeyer had a solo home run and two RBI, while Paschal added two hits and an RBI, and Ethan Rackers had a hit and an RBI.

Tyler Swehla was the Game 2 winner, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out 11 in four innings.

Welschmeyer had a hit and drove in two runs, while Brenden Brown and Tanner Abbott each tallied a hit and an RBI.

Blair Oaks (18-5) will host Camdenton on Thursday.
