Cole County Clerk Marvin Register shows the new voter identification card that will be arriving in residents' mailboxes later this week. Up until now, voter cards have been a solid color so Register wants people to know that this new design is a legitimate card and not a solicitation for information. The new card is shown below.
New voter registration cards are coming out in Cole County.
County Clerk Marvin Register said his office began mailing the new cards Monday.
All registered voters are asked to destroy the old blue cards and start using the new cards at the next election.
If you are a registered voter in Cole County and have not received a new card by May 15, you should contact the clerk's office at 634-9101.
