Baseball: Calvary 15, Bunceton 0

The Calvary Lutheran Lions posted a 15-0 win in five innings Monday against Bunceton.

Beau Monson shined on the mound and at the plate.

He went the distance to get the victory, allowing two hits while striking out eight.

At the plate, Monson had three hits, including two doubles, and drove in four runs.

Gavin Nutt had two hits and two RBI for the winners, Caleb Propst scored two runs, while Brad McLaughlin totaled two RBI as all nine Calvary starters had at least one hit in the game.

Calvary (9-4), which won the JV game 7-1, will play today at Stoutland.
