LINN, Mo. - The Linn Wildcats went 3-0 to capture the title in their own tournament this weekend.
On Saturday, Linn opened with a 10-0 win in six innings against Vienna. Blake Snyder went the distance to get the win, tossing a two-hitter. He struck out five.
Alec Shoop had a two-run home run and scored four times for the Wildcats. Jacob Voss had three hits and two RBI, while Tony Mebruer and Ben Klebba had two hits and an RBI.
Linn then bested Owensville 6-2. Voss was the winning pitcher, striking out nine.
Mebruer had two hits and two RBI, while Shoop had two hits.
Linn (13-2) will host New Bloomfield on Monday.
