LINN, Mo. - The Linn Wildcats opened the Linn Invitational in style, handling Hermann 11-4 on Friday night.
Ben Klebba and Ethan Hickey had three hits and three RBI apiece for the winners, while Ryan Mantle had three hits and two RBI.
Klebba worked the first five innings to get the win, striking out six. Ryan Deeken pitched the final two innings.
Linn (11-2) will resume play in the event today, taking on Vienna at 9 a.m. and Owensville at 1:45 p.m.
