Dear Editor:
It's box turtle time! Give them a break and look out for them.
I don't advocate running off the road to avoid them, but do what you can to avoid running them over.
And the snapping turtles also deserve the same courtesy. I have personally seen vehicles leave the road to run these guys over.
They are not evil and do not eat all the fish. They do make great soup but do not deserve to be targeted by ignorance. But I blame that on Bush.
