Prep Baseball: Fatima 10, Russellville 3

WESTPHALIA, Mo. - Logan Vogel had three hits, including a three-run home run, to help the Fatima Comets post a 10-3 win against Russellville on Tuesday.

Hunter Hennier was 3-for-4 and drove in a run, while Reid Kesel was 2-for-4 with an RBI to help lead the Comets.

Brady Weavers got the win for the Comets, pitching three innings of scoreless relief. He struck out five and allowed just two hits.

For Russellville, Clayton Meyer had a single and a two-run home run. Ryland Johnson chipped in with two hits and one RBI and Chase Smith had a pair of hits.

Meyer took the loss, throwing a complete game. Eight of the 10 runs were earned and he allowed 10 hits while striking out three.

Russellville (5-8) will play today at Tuscumbia.

Fatima (11-4) will host Hickman on Friday.

Fatima won the JV game 8-0.
