StartUp Jefferson City will host "Encouraging Entrepreneurs" from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the Capital Event Center, 623 Ohio St. The event is free and doors open at 8:30 a.m. The event is designed to bring local aspiring entrepreneurs together with already successful entrepreneurs in the area.
"Encouraging Entrepreneurs" is in its third year and will feature guest speaker Gary Wilbers, executive coach from Ascend Business Strategies. Seven different resource groups will offer free counseling to all event participants, answering questions about real estate, finance, permits, and other general questions about their overall business plans.
