Spring In-Water Boat Show ignites Lake season

Lake-goers celebrate the beginning of boat season this weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association's Spring In-Water Boat Show Friday through Sunday at Dog Days Bar & Grill in Osage Beach.

This guitar featuring Dave Matthews' autograph and original artwork will be raffled off at the Dave Matthews Band's concert Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Dickey-Stephens Park. Tickets for the raffle are $10.

The event, one of two Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association (LOMDA) boat shows held at the lake each year, features a variety of watercraft on display, including personal watercraft, cruisers, performance boats and more. Several vendors were also present, offering docks and boating accessories.

LOMDA consists of more than 40 lake area marine dealers, representing the top lines of boats, marine accessories and personal watercraft. The In-Water Boat Show wraps up today and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
