The Jefferson City JV team posted a 7-2 win against the Sedalia Smith-Cotton varsity Thursday at Washington Park.
Singles winners for the Jays included Kader Fees (9-7), Joe Willoh (8-4), Jacob Ruboneka (8-3), Vanya Mokeyev (8-4) and Bonnie Nyakoojo (8-1). Josh Jay lost 8-5.
In doubles, Willoh and Jay won 9-7 and Mokeyev and Alex Weaver won 8-3. Fees and Ruboneka lost 9-7.
