OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The Helias Lady Crusaders took seventh place in the Heart of America Invitational on Saturday after splitting a pair of games.
Helias dropped its second straight game in penalty kicks, falling 2-1 to Eureka in the loser's bracket semifinals.
Becky Roberts scored Helias' lone goal in the game.
The Lady Crusaders then responded to beat Denver East 5-3 in the seventh-place game.
Roberts and Jordan Poire scored two goals apiece, while Morgan Rundle added another goal.
Helias (5-4) hosts Kirksville on Monday.
