Your Opinion: Putin exploits moral decay

It has come to light recently since Vladimir Putin's emergence onto the world stage as a strong leader vs. our embarrassing-inept president that he is winning on another front, support for and protection of Christian values.

A quote from his op-ed article in the New York Times: "There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord's blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal."

A quote from a speech he made last December: "Many Euro-Atlantic countries have moved away from their roots, including Christian values. Policies are being pursued that place on the same level a multi-child family and a same-sex partnership, a faith in God and a belief in Satan. This is the path to degradation."

Can anyone even imagine our apparently atheistic and Islamic-supporting president even coming close to making those types of statements?

Wake up America! It sounds like to me he has read and is using American history about our revolution. Could it be he believes that it was God's blessing that enabled George Washington to win over the assumed insurmountable odds against the British? Could it be he believes God has abandoned our country and he is trying to gather God's favor by protecting his country from the degradation he sees in our country?

Whatever we think of Putin (and the Russians) I think he knows exactly what he's doing. He's taking complete advantage of our spineless leadership and the moral decay that's destroying our country from within. He's also taking advantage of our obsession with climate change that will continue to drain our economy by trying to control it. What better scenario could he want for conquering us: bankruptcy in leadership, morality and financial strength.

By my faith, I absolutely will not try to figure out God's plan, but I do believe that God is in control and I also believe the direction Obama and the so-called "progressives" are leading us is in the wrong direction! I think Putin knows exactly where our vulnerabilities are on every front and is using it to win the world.
