TUSCUMBIA, Mo. - Tuscumbia combined for three home runs, but the Lions fell to Eldon 17-10 on Thursday.
Wyatt Ahart and Orrie Patterson both hit three-run home runs and Zane Humphreys added a solo shot. Ben Wilson was 2-for-3 and drove in three runs to help lead the Lions at the plate.
In the JV contest, Eldon claimed a 5-2 win.
Tuscumbia (3-5) will play at Crocker today.
Tuscumbia came up just short against the top-ranked team in the state on Wednesday, falling to No. 1 New Franklin 1-0.
New Franklin, the top-ranked team in Class 1, scored a run in the bottom of the first that held up.
Wilson went 2-for-2 for Tuscumbia.
Humphreys tossed six innings, allowing one run on one hit with seven walks and six strikeouts for the Lions.
