COLUMBIA - The Jefferson City Jays suffered a 9-0 loss to defending state runner-up Rock Bridge on Wednesday.
Falling in singles for the Jays were David Clausen (1-6, 7-6, 9-11 match tiebreaker), David Steinmeyer (0-6, 0-6), Spencer Bone (3-6, 6-1, 10-12 match tiebreaker), Dalton Doyle (2-6, 6-1), Dane Biesemeyer (2-6, 5-7) and Joey Mendez (0-6, 2-6).
Falling in doubles for Jefferson City was Steinmeyer and Bone (4-6, 3-6), Clausen and Doyle (1-6, 5-7) and Biesemeyer and Mendez (0-6, 2-6).
The Jays will return to action against Marshall at 4 p.m. today at Washington Park.
