LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays split a doubleheader with Lee's Summit and Lee's Summit North on Saturday.
The Jays rallied for three runs in the sixth inning to beat Lee's Summit North 5-4 in the opener.
Travis Hennessy was the winning pitcher, tossing seven innings while striking out four.
Brenden Ogletree had two hits for the Jays.
Jefferson City then dropped a 2-1 decision to Lee's Summit.
Kyle Irwin took the loss for the Jays. Rylie Klosterman had an RBI for Jefferson City.
Jefferson City (6-3) hosts Waynesville on Wednesday.
