Central Missouri falls in baseball

EMPORIA, Kan. — No. 26 Central Missouri couldn’t hold a late lead as Emporia State claimed a 4-3 win against the Mules in walk-off fashion Tuesday night at Glennen Field.

Brad Wilson (Helias High School) was 2-for-4 to help lead the Mules, who outhit Emporia State 7-5.

Central Missouri is now 22-10 on the year, while Emporia State improved to 19-11.

The Mules will host Lindenwood this weekend for a four game-series, starting at 3 p.m. Friday.
