COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Helias Crusaders kicked off the tennis season with a victory.
Helias defeated Battle 6-0 in a rain-shortened match Tuesday.
Singles winners for the Crusaders were Ethan Lesko (8-0), Caleb Seidel (8-0), Kirk Twehous (8-3), Jeremy Wolters (8-0) and T.J. Hagenhoff (8-0).
Wolters and Seidel won a doubles match 8-0. Twehous and Hagenhoff were winning a doubles match 6-1 before the match was called off due to rain.
Helias (1-0) travels Thursday to Fulton.
