Jefferson City Middle School Cross Country Invitational

The Thomas Jefferson boys and Holy Family girls won titles at the middle-school Jefferson City Cross Country Invitational on Thursday.

On the boys side, Thomas Jefferson racked up 36 points to beat second-place St. Joseph's, which had 67. Connor Frank of St. Joseph's was the individual winner.

In the girls race, Holy Family's 33 points easily led the field, as St. Peter's was second with 64. Alyssa Struemph of Holy Family won the race.
