Helias teams 2nd at Hermitage

HERMITAGE, Mo. - Helias claimed a pair of second-place team finishes during Saturday's Hermitage Invitational.

The Crusaders finished second in the six-team large school field with 69 points. Kickapoo won with 20 points and School of the Osage was third with 84.

Helias featured three top-15 finishers, including Matt Lorang (seventh, 18:23), Evan Block (eighth, 18:29) and Thomas Asmar (11th, 18:43).

Osage had three as well, including Tristan Hensley (fifth, 18:20), Matt Reid (13th, 18:55) and Wyatt Whitman (14th, 18:56).

The Lady Crusaders took second with 40 points in a four-team field. Kickapoo won with 30 points and Bolivar was third with 64.

Helias counted four runners among the top-15 finishers, including Kaitlyn Shea (second, 20:39), Kayla Yanskey (third, 21:16), Baylee Francka (seventh, 21:53) and Lanie Hentges (15th, 22:40).

Osage had one, Gabrielle Hill (fifth, 21:40).
