BizBeat: Confusing façade yields few clues
Sunday, September 29, 2013
In August, we reported that a new restaurant would be opening in downtown Jefferson City at 219 Madison St. in the near future. The space was being fixed up and touted a new name, SzeChuan Restaurant, on its façade.
The restaurant hasn’t opened up for business, and as of Friday afternoon, the question isn’t when will it open, but if it will open.
The SzeChuan name had been painted over, leaving a blank canvas for the outside of the building.
Efforts to contact the suspected restaurant owners have been unsuccessful, but we’ll keep trying and let you know if there is any change.
