COLUMBIA - Jefferson City won a pair of games in the Kewpie Classic on Friday.
Jefferson City defeated Ursuline Academy 9-1 in the first game. Krista Brickey picked up the win. She allowed one hit and one walk.
Darby Brundage added three hits and five RBI while Katie Tambke scored four runs.
Jefferson City defeated Parkway South 9-3 in the second game. Brickey picked up the win as she allowed six hits and two walks.
Dakota Newton had two hits while Taylor Dey had a pair of RBI. Brooke Rozier had a two-run homer.
Jefferson City plays again at 10:30 this morning against a team yet to be determined.
