The 41st annual Jefferson City CROP Walk for world hunger will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at Soldiers' Memorial at Lincoln University.
One-fourth of the donations raised will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Capital City to battle child hunger. The remainder will support Church World Service.
Walkers will meet at 3 p.m.
The Capital Area Interfaith Alliance, which partners with the university to host the event, hopes for 600 walkers and $20,000 in donations.
In addition to raising funds, the event's goal is to raise awareness of hunger.
