Club Motivation shooting nets probation for woman

A Jefferson City woman was placed on a five years supervised probation after an incident where shots were fired at Club Motivation on Industrial Drive in February.

Eboni Bifford, a 26-year-old Cole County resident, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

According to Jefferson City police, callers to 911 reported four to five gunshots were fired by someone in a vehicle parked on the lot.

Officers arrived on the scene and determined the shots were fired by the driver of a white Buick. The driver was eventually identified as Bifford.

Officers contacted Bifford and the occupants of the Buick, who were extremely uncooperative, authorities said.

During the investigation, officers noticed a black handgun in the vehicle, along with unspent rounds of ammunition and a Ruger firearm bag.

Three spent shell casings were located near the vehicle.

No one was injured in the incident.
