Alleged gunman sought in JC

On Monday at about 4 p.m., Jefferson City police received a single 9-1-1 call about a man carrying a shotgun in the 2500 block of Twin Hills Road.

Officers responded to the scene and made contact with a juvenile who resides in that area, who stated that he saw a white male wearing a ski mask, shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals walking in a backyard. The alleged suspect was also carrying a shotgun.

Officers were on scene within minutes and began looking for the suspect and contacting neighbors. No one, including neighbors and nearby residents, claims to have seen the suspect other than the juvenile. The juvenile was interviewed again by police, and the case is still under investigation by Jefferson City Police Detectives.
