The Russellville Lady Indians opened Show-Me Conference play with a 3-2 win over New Bloomfield on Thursday.
McKendra Fischer had a triple and two RBI for Russellville, Miranda Hill had a single and a double, and Micayla Gilmore had one hit and one RBI.
Hill was the winning pitcher, as she scattered six hits.
Bethany Craighead led the New Bloomfield attack by going 2-for-4 with a single, double and RBI. Kennedy Peiter added a run-scoring single.
The Lady Indians (4-2) will host St. Elizabeth on Tuesday, while New Bloomfield (2-2) travels Monday to Wellsville.
