Driver hurt in rollover crash

Police say a Jefferson City man was treated for minor injuries after a one vehicle crash in the Capital City on Friday morning.

At 8:47 a.m., a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Skylar Dunn, 21, Jefferson City, was eastbound in the 3400 block of US 50 West.

Dunn reported that for an unknown reason, the Suburban veered to the left and off the roadway.

As the Suburban went off the roadway, it struck a dirt embankment causing it to momentarily go airborne and then land and rollover coming to a stop right side up.

Authorities believe the left front tire blew out causing Dunn to lose control.

Dunn was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
