A Russellville man was killed in a one vehicle accident Sunday morning in Cole County.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show Joshua Ortbals, 37, was on Jefferson Road, just east of Stevens Road, near the Russellville High School.
It is unknown when the exact time the accident occurred, but it was reported to authorities around 5:11 a.m.
Ortbals went off the left side of the road, struck a large tree and overturned coming to rest on his wheels.
He was not wearing a seat belt.

Emergency crews responded to a vehicle crash on a street in Russellville early this morning.
Initial reports indicated rescue workers were called around 5:20 a.m. to extricate an occupant in a vehicle that overturned on Jefferson Road near the high school.
Additional information was not immediately being released, pending completion of the accident investigation.
