Westminster falls to Iowa Wesleyan

FULTON — Iowa Wesleyan ruined Homecoming for the Westminster Blue Jays on Saturday, taking a 23-14 win.
Austin Kempker (Blair Oaks High School) caught a 26-yard touchdown pass for the Blue Jays’ second score of the game. He ended up with five catches for 62 yards.
Kempker also had a solo tackle in the contest.
Also for Westminster, Bret Robertson (California High School) had an interception to go with his five solo tackles and one assisted tackle. C.J. Vaughan (Jefferson City High School) had three solo tackles, one assisted tackle and one pass breakup, while Mike Washington (Jefferson City High School) caught six passes for 47 yards.
The Blue Jays are now 2-5 overall and 2-4 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.
