MEXICO, Mo. - The Helias Crusaders posted a 2-1 victory Thursday night against the Mexico Bulldogs.
Ian Luebbert and Gage West scored the goals for the Crusaders. Braden Remmert had an assist.
Helias (11-4, ranked No. 9 in Class 2) is back in action Monday when the Crusaders host the Jefferson City Jays. The junior varsity game will start at 5 p.m., with the varsity contest to follow around 6:45 p.m.
In Thursday's JV game, Helias posted a 2-0 victory against Mexico. Grant Stokes and Zach Simon both had a goal and an assist for the Crusaders (8-6-2).
