The Jefferson City Lady Jays defeated Marshall 7-2 on Tuesday afternoon at Washington Park.
Doubles started the dual, as the Lady Jays won all three. Winners were Paige Smith and Eden Hoogveld (10-3), Kelly Raithel and Haley Snellen (10-7) and Athira Nambiar and Kirsten Schmidt (10-2).
Jefferson City then held a 4-2 edge in singles. Winners for the Lady Jays were Raithel (10-8), Smith (10-2), Hoogveld (10-0) and Nambiar (10-5). Madeline Brown (3-10) and Haley Watson (2-10) fell.
Jefferson City (13-4) travels Wednesday to Rock Bridge for a 4:30 p.m. match that will close out its regular season.
