Seminar on Census data slated
Wednesday, November 27, 2013
A seminar called “Census and the Community” is set for Dec. 12 in Jefferson City council chamber room 207 at the John G. Christy Municipal Building.
The first session is set to begin at 10 a.m. and is based on the American Community Survey, which is an ongoing survey giving communities current information they need to plan investments and services.
The second session is based on American Fact Finder, which shows how to access census data through American Fact Finder or get advice on choosing the right tool or data table for your needs. Participants may bring laptops.
If you plan to attend the seminar, respond on or before Dec. 9 to City Planning Division at 573-634-6410.
Parking is available on the street or in Lot 24 on Adams Street.
