BOONVILLE - The California Lady Pintos dropped a 58-47 decision to Boonville in their season opener Monday night.
Boonville led 10-8 after one quarter, 23-16 at halftime and 44-33 after three quarters.
Kameron Koetting led California with 11 points.
Paige Renfroe paced Boonville with 17 points, while Morgan Edwards added 11.
California (0-1) takes on Versailles on Monday in the Eugene Tournament.
California won the JV game 31-30.
