STORRS, Conn. (AP) - Stefanie Dolson had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead top-ranked Connecticut to a 96-38 victory over Boston University on Friday night in the opening round of the Hall of Fame Challenge tournament.

The Huskies (6-0), who dressed just seven scholarship players because of injury, had four score players in double figures. They used a 34-3 run in the first half to take control of a game that was tied after the first 5½ minutes.

Breanna Stewart led the Huskies with 25 points and had seven rebounds and six assists. Freshman Saniya Chong had 15 points and Kiah Stokes finished with 10.

Clodagh Scannell topped Boston University (1-4) with nine points.

Dolson was coming off her first career triple double, when she had 26 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists against Oregon on Wednesday. It was the second triple-double in the history of the program.

NO. 9 BAYLOR 88, NORTHWESTERN STATE 54

WACO, Texas (AP) - Odyssey Sims scored 30 points to help Baylor extend the nation's longest home-court winning streak to 62 games.

The Lady Bears (5-0) put together a game-clinching 11-0 run over a span of just over 2 minutes early in the second half, grabbing a 49-32 lead on Nina Davis' layup. They kept building on the advantage from there, leading by as many as 36 points.

Sims, a preseason AP All-American, has scored at least 20 points in six straight games. The senior point guard also had five rebounds and five assists in her second 30-point game this season.

Trudy Armstead had 19 points for Northwestern State (2-2).

NO. 18 PURDUE 76, BELMONT 46

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Ashley Morrissette scored 12 points and April Wilson scored 11 to lead Purdue to the victory.

The Boilermakers (4-0) forced 20 Belmont turnovers and harassed the Bruins (2-4) into shooting 25 percent from the field.

Wilson opened with a 3-pointer 15 seconds into the game and the Boilermakers never trailed. Morrissette scored five points on a layup and 3-pointer to help Purdue open a 22-12 lead midway through the first half.

Meredith Roman led Belmont with 14 points. Jordyn Luffman added 10 points and 14 rebounds.

NO. 20 OKLAHOMA STATE 82, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 51

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Brittney Martin had 22 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to help Oklahoma State pull away for the win.

The Cowgirls (5-0) shot 51.7 percent from the field and had four players score in double figures. Liz Donohoe had 15 points and Tiffany Bias finished with 14. Kendra Suttles added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Southern California (3-1) committed 19 turnovers. Ariya Crook was the only scorer in double figures for the Trojans with 12 points.
