LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Reserve Bernisha Pinkett scored 19 points, leading No. 7 Kentucky to a 103-38 rout of Georgia Southern on Wednesday.

Playing the morning home opener before about 2,000 enthusiastic sixth graders, the Wildcats (3-0) followed up Sunday's 49-point win over Wagner with a 54-point second half against the outgunned Eagles (1-2).

Kentucky thrived on both ends, forcing 35 turnovers and shooting51 percent to win its first meeting against the Southern Conference member.

Starting guard Kastine Evans added 15 points, DeNesha Stallworth and Linnae Harper each had 13, Samarie Walker added 12 and Azia Bishop had 10 with a team-high 12 rebounds.

Guard Angel McGowan shook off a second-half ankle injury to score 10 points for Georgia Southern, which shot just 25 percent.

No. 16 TEXAS A&M 76, PRAIRIE VIEW A&M 27

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Karla Gilbert scored 15 points to lead Texas A&M to a rout of Prairie View A&M.

It was the fewest points that the Aggies (2-0) gave up since allowing Louisiana Tech to score 26 points in Dec. 2012.

The Panthers (0-2) didn't have a player score in double figures. Jeanette Jackson, who scored 32 points in the Panthers' opener against Rice, was 0 for 14, finishing with one point before fouling out. The Panthers committed 30 turnovers.

No. 18 PURDUE 76, IUPUI 56

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - KK Houser scored 20 points while Courtney Moses added 13 to lead Purdue over IUPUI.

Purdue (2-0) led 32-26 at the half and was able to open up a 16-point lead by holding IUPUI (1-1) scoreless for the first 7 minutes of the second half.

Katie Comello and Akilah Sims each scored 11 points for the Jaguars.

No. 22 IOWA STATE 88, SOUTH DAKOTA 72

AMES, Iowa (AP) - Hallie Christofferson had 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead Iowa State over South Dakota.

Nicky Moody added 20 points and seven assists for the Cyclones (2-0) while Brynn Williamson had 18 points.

Nicole Seekamp had 21 points and seven assists for the Coyotoes (1-2).
