Illinois man sentenced in tampering case

An Illinois resident has been sentenced to three years in prison for pleading guilty to possessing a Cadillac in Jefferson City which turned out to be stolen from Florida.

Charly Jesse, 21, had been charged with first-degree tampering.

A police probable cause statement shows officers were told Jesse had approached a man and asked for money at Eastland Plaza on Schotthill Woods Drive.
