WESTPHALIA, Mo. - The Fatima Comets rolled past the Calvary/Tolton Lions 7-0 in a Class 1 District 8 Tournament semifinal game Tuesday night at Knights of Columbus Field.
John Fick and Kaleb Bauer both scored a pair of goals for the top-seeded Comets, while Travis Ruettgers, Christian Crawford and Zach Buscher each tallied a goal. Justin Bax got the shutout in net.
Fourth-seeded Calvary/Tolton ends its inaugural varsity soccer season at 5-10-1.
Fatima (17-8) now hosts second-seeded Dixon (12-6) for the district title at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Dixon defeated Belle 4-0 earlier Tuesday.
