Your Opinion: Help prevent spread of polio

Dear Editor:

On Oct. 30, I read an article in a St. Louis newspaper about the current outbreak of polio in Syria.

As a concerned citizen, I urge every United States citizen to go to their doctor and make such that their polio vaccination does not need to be updated and if it does to get it done.

We don’t need to face again the problems that this disease caused the United States in the 1940s and ’50s.
