Riback/DKB is settled into its new showroom on Jefferson City's Christy Drive. To celebrate the recent move, it will host a grand opening event Thursday.
Branch manager Kent Robinson said the new location is better for customers, providing both the showroom and warehouse in one location. "This is more functional for the consumer," Robinson said. "It is a lot nicer and neater setup."
The 2027 Christy Drive location features everything in one spot, as well as new working displays. A few showers, sinks and Whirlpool tubs are available for a more hands-on shopping experience. Robinson said the move is really all about better serving the public. "We just want to welcome everyone to come out and tour our new facility," he said.
The Riback HVAC supplies have now been moved to the McCarty Street location which previously housed the plumbing supply warehouse. Riback/DKB owns both the McCarty Street and Christy Drive buildings. The other two Industrial Drive locations were only being leased.
The Riback/DKB Kitchen and Bath grand opening is scheduled from 2-7 p.m. Thursday and will include giveaways, refreshments and a grand prize drawing for a $5,000 suite of Whirlpool appliances. A Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting will take place at 4 p.m.
The new showroom will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays. The customer/trade counter will be open from 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
