Chelsea Thomas named All-American

Missouri's season ended last week against Washington in the Super Regional, but ace pitcher Chelsea Thomas is still raking in the honors.

Thomas was named an All-American for the third time in her career by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

Thomas ended her career as the winningest pitcher in Missouri history with a mark of 111-31. She was 24-6 with a 1.16 ERA this season for the Tigers who came up two games short of reaching the College World Series.

She also was the Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Year after she led the SEC in wins, strikeouts and opponent's batting average. She won the same honor in the Big 12 in 2011 and 2012.
