Westminster College freshman Deion Hughes was recently named to the D3baseball.com All-Central Region Third Team.
Hughes (Helias High School) was selected as a utility player, as he was a pitcher and left fielder for the Blue Jays. He finished the season with a .342 batting average with 26 RBI in 34 games. On the mound, he posted a 1.06 ERA while going 2-1 in 12 relief appearances.
