Charlie Christiansen, Jefferson City, was named a winner in the Ameren Missouri ActOnEnergy contest.
He received a $500 gift card to a home improvement store and is eligible to receive $5,000 in energy efficient home improvements.
During the month of April customers were invited to upload a photo and essay to Facebook.com/AmerenMissouri describing why their home needed energy improvements.
In the next two weeks ActOnEnergy Savers Team will conduct in-home energy assessments to determine who, among the 10 winners, should be named grand prize winner and receive the $5,000 in energy efficient home improvements.
The grand prize winner will be announced May 28.
