Three people were arrested following a chase with Jefferson City police, Tuesday afternoon.
Police reports show at about 3:30 p.m. an officer attempted to stop a vehicle in North Jefferson City for a routine traffic violation.
The suspect vehicle initially stopped, then sped off and the officer pursued.
The pursuit went down Route W and ended with the driver pulled over and a male and female suspect jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot.
The driver stayed with the vehicle and did not run.
Responding officers chased down both suspects that ran, and also arrested the driver.
Those arrested were:
• Driver, Marcus L. Parker, 54, Jefferson City for stop sign violation, fail to yield to an emergency vehicle and resisting arrest by fleeing.
• Passenger 1, Shane Otto, 38, Jefferson City, possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest.
• Passenger 2 , Jennifer Wilson, 27, Jefferson City, resisting arrest by fleeing and an outstanding felony warrant from the state of Arkansas for burglary.
