Rain halts SEC tourney

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Due to persistent inclement weather in the area, all of Friday’s action in the Southeastern Conference Softball Tournament was postponed.

The event, which was scheduled to conclude today, will attempt to stay on schedule by having three games contested today.

Fifth-seeded Georgia and No. 1 seed Florida will play the first semifinal game at 10 a.m. today, followed by third-seeded Missouri against second-seeded Tennessee at 12:30 p.m.

The title game is slated to begin at 7 p.m. (ESPN-TV)
