RUSSELLVILLE — Russellville closed out the regular season in style with a 9-3 victory against South Callaway on Thursday night.

Clayton Meyer picked up the win on the mound as he allowed two runs on three hits in three innings of relief.

Caleb Harrison was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Chandler Wolf had two hits and two RBI while Chase Smith added two hits.

The Indians (13-7) open Class 2 District 9 play Tuesday at New Bloomfield against the winner of Saturday’s game between New Bloomfield and New Haven. The Indians are the top seed.

Russellville won Thursday’s JV game 8-6.
