MU men heading to Las Vegas

A small piece of Missouri’s basketball schedule has been put together.

The Tigers will take part in the Las Vegas Invitational on Nov. 28-29 with games against Nevada and Northwestern.

The Tigers also will play two home games as part of the event which could include Tennessee-Chattanooga, IUPUI (Ind.), Morehead State (Ky.) or Gardner Webb (N.C.).

UCLA also will take part in the event, but will not play Missouri in Las Vegas because the two are already scheduled to play during the regular season at Mizzou Arena.

Northwestern (13-19) and Nevada (12-19) both had losing records last season.

The remainder of Missouri’s nonconference schedule has not been released.
