The American Red Cross Heart of Missouri Chapter is holding lifeguard training from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. May 20-22 at the California, Mo., pool.
Pre-registration is required and can be done online at www.redcross.org or by calling 1-800-REDCROSS and using option 3.
To receive certification, participants must attend all class sessions, demonstrate competency in all skills and skill scenarios, and pass a written exam with a score of 80 percent or above. The fee is $350.
