LAKE OZARK, Mo. - No students were seriously injured during a three-vehicle accident Wednesday morning on Bagnell Dam Boulevard.

The accident occurred about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of Bagnell Dam Boulevard, Police Chief Mark Maples said in a press release. Eleven elementary students were riding the bus to Leland O. Mills Elementary School.

Maples said the accident occurred when a high school driver's vehicle hit a non-student driver, whose vehicle hit the bus.

None of the students on the bus or the bus driver reported any serious injuries. Maples said the bus driver did "an excellent job at safely bringing the school bus to a stopped position out of the roadway." The bus received rear-end damage and was towed from the scene.

The other two drivers were transported to Lake Regional Hospital for injuries. The accident remains under investigation, Maples said.
