Your Opinion: Congressman appreciated

Dear Editor:

To answer Linda Wenzlick’s rhetorical question — the Honorable Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer is talking to me. He is also quite definitely talking for me and most of my friends as an effective conservative.

Those large number of people Ms. Wenzlick mentioned standing in a food lines at the Samaritan Center and Food Bank is certainly not as a result of Rep. Luetkemeyer. You can thank the pitiful economy; tax and spend liberalism and the numbers of hopelessly unemployed thanks to Barack Obama’s policies. If they had a job, they would not have to stand in the food line.

The “gimme” society liberals continually massage has America rapidly rolling downhill toward the socialist model Obama espouses and directs in his policies.

I’m proud — no, I’m ecstatic that Rep. Luekemeyer represents me and I plan to contribute to his re-election even though I am of modest means and living on retirement.
