BizBeat: Sign celebrates law firm anniversary

At the corner of Monroe Street and Whitton Expressway sits a large prominent building. Two new signs adorn the top, pronouncing the new logo for Newman Comley & Ruth.

The Jefferson City-based law firm has called the centrally located building home since it was built in 1998.

"The firm will be celebrating 20 years of dedicated service to the community next month," shareholder Ed Clausen said. "In recognition of those years of service and the fact that the law firm has grown from the founding partners to include 11 attorneys, the firm has decided to brand itself a "NCR.'"

NCR focused on designing the logo as a sleek, simple design that would translate well in all uses. The NCR signs, 6 foot by 4 foot and specially created by Bee Seen Signs, sit on the corners of the building facing both nearby streets. They also light up, putting a spotlight on the building at night.

The new logo was adopted to represent the firm, and has been rolled out over the past few months. A revamped website will complete the new look to be debuted in the next 30 days.
