The Save a Baby 5K, a fundraiser for the Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri, is set for April 27 in Jefferson City.
The center offers assistance to people of all ages involved in an unplanned pregnancy.
The 5K race will begin and finish at Memorial Park on West Main Street.
Registration will open at 7 a.m., and the race will begin at 8 a.m. Pre-registration is $30 and will be $35 on the day of the race.
Awards will be given to overall masters male and female and the top three in standard age groups. Participants who raise $1,000 in pledges will receive an Apple iPad 2 16GB with Wi-Fi. Other donation awards include an Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 inch 16GB e-reader, and an Apple iPod Nano seventh generation 16GB.
